Edward T. Ryan, MD, DTMH, FIDSA, Infectious Diseases, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA

Edward T. Ryan, M.D. received a Bachelorís degree in Biochemical Sciences from Princeton University and a Doctorate in Medicine from Harvard University. He performed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. He is currently the Director of the Tropical & Geographic Medicine, and Travelersí Advice and Immunization Center at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and an Associate Professor of Immunology and Infectious Diseases, Harvard School of Public Health. His research focuses on enteric bacterial-host interactions, and vaccine development and evaluation. He is the author of over 80 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, or chapters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
