I will be presenting a brief summary on when surgery might be used in the context of pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis.


Gwen Huitt, MD, MS, National Jewish Medical and Research Center, Denver, CO

Dr. Huitt is a Professor of Medicine at National Jewith Health and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver. She specialized in the clinical care of patients with tuberculosis, nontuberculous mycobacteria, and bronchiectasis. She has been awarded the Clinician of the Year award in 2001 and Ambassador award in 2010 at National Jewish.
