Robert S. Munford, MD, FIDSA, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD

Dr. Munford was a Professor of Internal Medicine and Microbiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for over 30 years. Since 2009, he has been a Senior Clinician and Deputy Chief of the Laboratory of Clinical Infectious Diseases, NIAID, NIH. His research on endotoxin detoxification mechanisms complements his clinical interest in sepsis and its aftermath.
