Oluwatoyin Adeyemi, MD, CORE Center, Cook County Hospital and Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL

Oluwatoyin Falusi-Adeyemi is a graduate of the College of Medicine University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She completed her residency traininfg at UIC medical center, Chicago and her ID fellowship at the joint Rush University/Cook County Hospital Chicago program. She was a recipient of the 2-year NIH/AACTG minority fellowship training grant in 1999. She has been an attending physician at the CORE Center, Cook County Hosital, Chicago and Associate Professor of Medicine at Rush university medical Center since 2001.In addition to patient care and teaching, she is actively involved in HIV clinical research. She has authored and co-authored over 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals in the areas of Hepatitis C, Aging and metabolic complications of HIV therapy.
