Kathleen E. Squires, MD
Kathleen E. Squires, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr Squires is board certified in internal medicine with subspecialty certification in infectious diseases.
Dr Squires earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. She completed her internship in internal medicine and gynecology, and her residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of Medical College of Pennsylvania. She was also a fellow at Cornell University Medical College/The New York Hospital in the Division of Infectious Diseases.
Dr Squires is a member of various organizations such as American Academy of HIV Medicine, HIV Medical Association and American Federation of Clinical Research. She has published over 80 articles in peer-review journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and Annals of Internal Medicine. Her major interests with the HIV field are novel strategies for antiretroviral therapy and HIV in women.
