At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • understand the clinical and financial impact of ID specialist input in the management of selected key infections
  • make the case for ID value in health care epidemiology including  infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship
  • apply new tools designed to assist ID specialists in communicating ID value in contract negotiations
