  • describe viral load dynamics of herpesvirus infections and discuss clinical applications and limitations of viral load results
  • summarize the disease burden of VZV disease in moderately immunosuppressed patients and discuss implications for vaccination strategies
  • summarize results from recent randomized trials of late CMV infection prevention in transplantation and discuss novel strategies of late CMV disease prevention
  • discuss HHV-6 disease in transplant recipients with particular focus on the viral integration, clincial disease manifestations and management options
