Maryn McKenna is a columnist and contributing editor at Scientific American, a blogger for Wired magazine, and the author of SUPERBUG (Simon & Schuster 2010) and BEATING BACK THE DEVIL (Simon & Schuster 2004). She writes about public health, global health and food policy for publications including Nature, Slate, The Atlantic, the Guardian, China Newsweek and others. She is a Senior Fellow of the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism at Brandeis University and a board member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.
