Zenia Papanicolaou, is an Associate Member in the Infectious Disease serice at Memorial Sloan-Kettering cancer Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, New York. After obtaining her medical degree from the University of Athens, Greece Zenia did postdoctoral research in clinical microbiology at the Karolinska Hospital in Sweden before coming to United States. Zenia completed her Infectious disease training at Brown University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York and stayed on as faculty at Mount Sinai prior to her moving to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Zenia's clinical and reserach interests focus on optimizing managment of infections and improving the outcomes of stem cell transplant recipients.
