Michael Klompas, MD, MPH, FRCPC, FIDSA, Department of Population Medicine, Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, Boston, MA

Michael Klompas is an infectious disease physician and associate hospital epidemiologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. His research interests lie in novel applications of electronic health information to public health surveillance. Recent work has focused on ventilator-associated pneumonia. He received his medical degree from the Univesity of Toronto, did a residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Boston), and completed an infectious disease fellowship in the combined Massachusetts General / Brigham and Women's Hospital training program.
