Anne Rowley, MD, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Chicago, IL

Dr. Rowley is Professor of Pediatrics and of Microbiology/Immunology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and an Attending Physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She has spent the majority of her academic career on the study of Kawasaki Disease, and her Kawasaki Disease research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health for the last 18 years. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, invited articles, and book chapters. She has served on the American Heart Association Committee on Endocarditis, Rheumatic Fever, and Kawasaki Disease, and has been appointed Co-Chair of the next International Kawasaki Disease Symposium, which will be held in February 2015.
