Learning Objectives:

This interactive workshop will provide a review of two IDSA Maintenance of Certification (MOC) modules and will allow attendees to earn 21 points toward American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) recertification. Moderators will review each question from the new 2013 MOC modules, including a discussion of the right and wrong answers. Following the workshop, attendees can upload the suggested correct responses to the online IDSA MOC platform and earn ABIM credit. recertification.

At the conclusion of this session, attendees will be able to:

  • discuss evidence supporting answer choices in 30 case scenarios on HIV Medicine and 33 case scenarios on hepatitis C evaluation and management
  • apply updated information to clinical scenarios in HIV and hepatitis C medicine
  • summarize new treatment and diagnostic strategies in these hosts
