  • describe emerging technologies and diagnostic platforms for the diagnosis of common infections such as pneumonia, sexually transmitted infections, and bloodstream infections
  • discuss the optimal diagnostic tests for specific clinical contexts to support clinical decision-making
  • demonstrate the benefits and limitations of advanced technologies when interpreting test results
