I am a Professor of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and received my MD from that school. I did my general surgical training at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Minneapolis. I then received an NIH extramural fellowship in neutrophil function, and did a fellowship focused on surgical infections. I then moved to my Cincinnati and have practiced burn, trauma, and general surgery, and critical care. My clinical research has focused on infections seen in surgical practice.
