Suzanne Bradley, MD, FIDSA, FSHEA, Internal Medicine, University of Michigan and Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, Ann Arbor, MI

Dr. Bradley is Professor of Internal Medicine in Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan and the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Healthcare Center. She received her A.B. magna cum laude in Biology from Mount Holyoke College and her M.D. from SUNY at Buffalo. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Ohio State University Hospitals and Fellowships in Infectious Diseases and Geriatric Medicine at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Bradley is a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), the American College of Physicians, and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. She has been involved in development of infection control guidelines for related to the prevention of antibiotic resistant pathogens and infections primarily in older adults and residents of nursing homes for the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), IDSA, and SHEA. She has served as an expert reviewer for HICPAC and is a member of the Office of the Medical Inspector Veterans Health Administration Nursing Home Infection Surveillance Taskforce, She is currently the Editor-in-Chief for the SHEA journal Infection Control Hospital Epidemiology. She has also served as a Section Editor for the AGS journal. Her research focuses on the prevention and control of infections in healthcare settings.
