Christine Johnston, MD, MPH, Medicine, University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA

Dr. Christine Johnston is an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. She obtained her B.S in biochemistry from Brown University and her M.D. from the University of Minnesota. She did internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at University of Washington. She also obtained a MPH from University of Washington. Her clinical research interests include the pathogenesis of genital HSV infection, improved therapies and vaccines for prevention and treatment of HSV infection, HSV infection in the immunocompromised host, and the impact of HSV infection on HIV acquisition and disease progression.
