Adam Lipworth, MD, Dermatology, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, MA

Dr. Lipworth is a dermatologist in practice at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he directs the Program for Infectious Diseases of the Skin. After medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and Internal Medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, he completed his dermatology training at the Harvard Combined Residency Program, and then an apprenticeship in Infectious Disease-Dermatology at Kings College London, under the tutelage of Professor Roderick Hay and Dr. Rachael Morris-Jones. His clinic in Boston focuses on patients with systemic infections that affect the skin, or with primary cutaneous infections that are severe, refractory, or otherwise challenging. He has worked in South Africa and with the Indian Health Service in New Mexico, and he travels each year to work in Gaborone, Botswana, as co-director of the American Academy of Dermatology Resident International Grant, which sends US and Canadian senior dermatology residents to staff a dermatology clinic year-round at Princess Marina Hospital, Botswana’s primary government referral hospital.
