Kevin Ault MD FIDSA is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) in Kansas City KS. He is Division Director for General Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the KUMC Institute for Reproductive Health and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Ault received his undergraduate degree from Butler University and his medical degree from Indiana University, both in Indianapolis IN. Dr. Ault did his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ohio State University, and received further training in infectious diseases at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Ault's research and clinical interests are infectious diseases and women's health. He has been an investigator in a wide variety of translational and clinical research involving vaginitis, gonorrhea, Chlamydia, herpes and human papillomavirus (HPV). He has also been involved in number of vaccine related research projects involving women’s health, such as HPV vaccine development and immunology and maternal immunization. Dr. Ault is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and a fellow of the Infectious Society of America. He is currently the liaison member for ACOG to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices
