At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • identify the imaging findings suggestive of pulmonary infections in immunocompetent and immunosuppressed individuals
  • apply the optimal modalities for imaging pulmonary infections, and examine their strengths and limitations
  • cite the newer infection-specific imaging modalities:  those in use or under investigation and those in the pipline
