Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to:

  • outline strategies for preventing, diagnosing, and managing common STDs in HIV-infected adults and in adolescents
  • develop a therapeutic approach when dealing with gonorrhea, non-gonococcal urethritis, PID, trichomoniais and HSV in an era of increasing drug resistance and in the setting of drug allergies
