  • discuss the type of telehealth activities that can be used to enhance/extend ID specialists' practice (patient care, antimicrobial stewardship, infection prevention)
  • explain the technology requirements and relevant regulations that apply to the provision of health care via telehealth (HIPAA requirements, state licensure issues)
  • list actionable next steps for adopting telehealth into an ID practice
  • describe the practices from real-world application of telehealth
