Learning Lounge Summary:

The value of MICs in clinical practice will be discussed including problematic pathogens and current resistance trends as well as treatment challenges; the need for rapid susceptibility information and the value of MICs in antibiotic choice, dosing regimens, and antibiotic stewardship will also be presented.
