    At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

    • discuss common mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and effective
    • components of antimicrobial stewardship programs
    • discuss the most common non-infectious causes of fever
    • describe common parasitic disease infections, including their diagnosis and treatment
    • identify the causes and treatment modalities of tick-borne infections
    • review infectious causes of diarrhea, including Clostridium difficile
