Susan Huang, MD MPH is an Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Health Policy Research Institute at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine, and the Medical Director of Epidemiology and Infection Prevention at UC Irvine Health. Her clinical epidemiologic research has focused on healthcare associated infections (HAI), including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), environmental contamination, outbreak detection, surgical site infections, and HAI metrics. Dr. Huang is currently the lead investigator of five randomized clinical trials on MDRO and HAI prevention.
