Gopi Patel is currently an Associate Professor in Infectious Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is the Medical Director for the Mount Sinai Health System Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, the Hospital Epidemiologist for Mount Sinai Hospital, and an attending physician on the Transplant Infectious Diseases Services. Her research interests include the clinical and molecular epidemiology of CRE and preventive and treatment strategies for infections with CRE.
