Lorry Glen Rubin, M.D.
Lorry Glen Rubin, M.D. is Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York of Northwell Health in New Hyde Park, NY and Professor of Pediatrics at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
Dr. Rubin has authored over 200 articles and book chapters.
Dr. Rubin has served on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and is a past member of the Committee on Infectious Diseases (“RedBook Committee”) of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was chair of a panel convened by the Infectious Diseases Society of America to develop guidelines for vaccination of the immunocompromised host. He is a fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America where he served on the Publications Committee, a past president of the Long Island Infectious Diseases Society, a past member of the Executive Committee of the Nassau Pediatric Society, and a past member of the Society for Pediatric Research./>Dr. Rubin is board-certified and re-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed residency training at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.
