Joseph Cantey, Pediatrics, UT Health San Antonio, San Antontio, TX

Dr. Cantey did his residency at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. He then completed fellowships in both pediatric infectious diseases and neonatal/perinatal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. His particular areas of interest include antimicrobial stewardship and infection control in the nursery setting, and the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal follow-up of congenital and perinatal infections.
