Alice I. Kim, MD is the Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) program since 2016 and is a member of Cleveland Clinic’s Medical and Surgical Operations Executive Committee, directing and implementing the integration and process improvements for post acute care. She completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic and then joined as staff in the Department of Infectious Diseases in 2003. She also serves as the Director of Infection Control at Cleveland Clinic’s LTACH and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IRF) and leads the Antibiotic Stewardship Program at the LTACH and Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF). Dr Kim’s other interests include COPAT and infective endocarditis with publications on S. aureus bacteremia, infective endocarditis and cardiac device and vascular graft infections. Dr Kim currently serves on IDSA’s Clinical Affairs Committee.
