Luke Strnad is currently is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Oregon Health and Science University and an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology Programs in the Center for Infectious Disease Studies at the Oregon Health and Sciences and Portland State University School of Public Health. He is faculty in the clinician educator pathway with a special focus on medical education and additional academic and clinical interest in mycobacterial infections, staphylococcus aureus infections, and infections in patients actively using intravenous substances. He completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine before completing an internal medicine residency and chief residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and infectious diseases fellowship and chief fellow year at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
