Thomas Kerr, PhD, BC Centre on Substance Use, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada

Dr. Thomas Kerr is a professor in the department of medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He is also the Associate Director of the BC Centre on Substance Use, where he oversees several large cohort studies involving people who use drugs. Dr. Kerr was also the principal investigator of the scientific evaluation of Vancouver's supervised injection site, and is involved in supervised injection site research in a range of settings throughout North America.
