Currently working for past 12 years in Springfield, MO as a private practice, not-for-profit, hospital employed ID physician and medical director of the ID service line. Started Antimicrobial Stewardship program and direct the IP department for 4 hospitals. Actively involved in IDSA Clinical Affairs Committee work and the ID value work group. Site investigator for several clinical trials, basic science research with Drury University, and teach medical students and residents. About 70% time is clinical practice and 30% hospital administrative work. Fellowship training was at Wake Forest in North Carolina. Personally, I'm a Texas Longhorn, I am married and have 2 daughters, we all play golf. I race triathlons and love to swim, bike, and run.
