Kara Chew, MD, MS, Medicine/Infectious Diseases, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA

Kara Chew is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Center for Clinical AIDS Research and Education at UCLA. She completed internal medicine residency training at UCSF and fellowship training in infectious diseases at UCLA, including a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree from the UCLA Department of Biomathematics. She is an investigator with the NIH AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) and Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (MACS). Her clinical and translational research focuses on cardiometabolic complications of HIV and hepatitis C virus infection.
