Dr. Shah is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Center for TB Research, Johns Hopkins University. He completed medical school at the University of California-San Francisco, residency training at Emory University, Infectious Disease fellowship at Johns Hopkins, and has a PhD in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. He is Medical Director for the Baltimore City Health Dept TB Program, and conducts clinical research on the evaluation and implementation of novel TB diagnostic tests and strategies in resource-limited settings.
