Lorne Walker, MD, PhD, Pediatrics, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA

Dr. Walker is a first-year Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, starting July 2017. He received his MD and PhD degrees from the University of California, San Diego with an interest in the application of bioinformatics and machine learning tools to problems in HIV. he completed pediatric residency and a year as Chief Resident at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Walker plans to purse a career in Pediatric Infectious diseases with a research focus on the application of machine learning and bioinformatics tools to aid in clinical practice.
